Meadowbrook Country Club

Outstanding golf course in all respects - layout, scenery, conditions. Highly recommended if you can get a chance to play it.

I was lucky to play with a group and get out on Meadowbrook. It was very wet which meant no cart which was fun cause it was a great walk. This was a typical old school private course. Tight tree lined fairways with fast greens that were tough to read with sneaky breaks. This would be a great course to be a member. Its got some tough but fair holes and can really make you a better golfer.

Being a Florida resident, the fairways and greens at Meadowbrook were a new experience. Fairways were slower than I'm used to, the greens faster (and the score higher!). The course was in excellent shape and its hilly nature added to the challenge. I hope to play there again before returning home (maybe next time the experience will be less humbling).

This course is still part of a true country club and has great amenities like range and practice areas. The course is not overly long but you definitely want to avoid the rough as it is thick and difficult to play out of. Play on a beautiful Saturday was predictably slow. A twosome jumped in front of us on the back nine and slowed us down. They had no rangers or starter and maybe could have used one. Over all it was well worth the Golfnow discount price.

Meadowbrook was a nice experience. We were greeted by a friendly worker who told us where to find the range and that the balls were out there for us. The course is a fun layout of holes with nice variety. The greens rolled true and had a playable speed. A bit of a drive from where we were but worth it.

5+ hour round. No marshalls. No effort at all to speed play. Course and greens were in good shape but all is overshadowed by slow pace of play. Did not have food or beverage so can't comment but cart girl was able to visit us every other hole because it was that slow. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed especially since we got carts just as we were teeing off (all in use).

Course was in excellent condition. Challenging length from back tees for a 14 handicap like myself. Greens rolled true and fairly quickly. Teed off at 9:15, finished 18 at 11:30. Caught a foursome on 18th green. Great value at $35.

I have golfed many courses and will definitely admit that this golf course goes in my list of "High Caliber, Top Notch, Come Back" courses. First, I'd like to thank Victor from the pro shop for his kind, professional and welcoming attitude and service. Usually at this point is where some golfers decide if they would come back or not. Victor made this an easy decision to come back. Especially being a 1st timer.
The course amazed me at the different hole designs. I love a good challenge and every hole did just that! I was also impressed at how beautiful and clean it was especially for being fall November!
I can't wait to bring the rest of the fellas next season!!!

Good local course. Got a deal on golf now and for the price it was worth it. I would not have been satisfied had I paid full price.

The course was in very nice condition, but the pace of play was painfully slow.

The course was very nice and well maintained, BUT, there wasn't any descriptions of the holes on the score card or at the hole, so every shot I either had to ride ahead to kind of see what I was up against or pray.
