Nestled in the rolling hills of Gold Country, Apple Mountain Resort has a dramatic landscape that provides plenty of elevation changes, making it a nearly impossible course to walk. Some of the drops from tee to green are unbelievable, offering unrivaled views of the surrounding mountains. Nearly every hole enjoys a stunning backdrop. The incredibly diverse terrain makes the golf course a challenge regardless of whether you are a novice or a pro. Golfers will have to contend with mature trees, water hazards, and numerous strategically placed bunkers in addition to the uneven lies and blind shots that are a result of the undulating landscape. Apple Mountain Resort's golf course is especially nice to play in the summer since its location enjoys a temperature that is at least a few degrees cooler than the Sacramento Valley.

Perfect Challenge, Best Views

I live in Monterey and play some of the best courses in the world, however Apple Mountain is one you will never forget. Challenging holes for every skilled golfer. Slopes, contours on greens, doglegs, double doglegs. It has it all. The best part is the views on not just one hole, but every single hole. Greatly enjoyed.

I enjoy playing this course, but honestly the pin placements seemed to be done by someone who doesn’t play golf! The greens are already challenging , so placing pins where they were located was absolutely ridiculous!
