Enjoy Carlow
Good course, tricky, winter conditions but that has to be expected in February.
I’d happily recommend!
Carlow Golf Club is a traditional parkland course that's known to be very playable all year round.
Despite very heavy rain in the days before we played, the fairways were firm and the greens were excellent. The course is really well maintained and despite our early teetime of 8am, the bunkers were immaculate.
Will definitely play again next time I'm in the area.
Great golf with great views.
Great track with multiple scenic holes. Good water features, great bunkering and be careful of back pins......don't go long. A second shot course that will utilise your whole bag and no need to get too eager off the tee. Damien in pro shop was very helpful and friendly staff in restaurant/bar.

Staff superb, both pro shop and bar and catering. Members friendly and welcoming.
Fairways lush , tee grass certainly too long. Greens still in recovery from weather but certainly acceptable given time of year. It has been an exceptionally wet year bot course presented very well given that.
Have and would play again.

Great course , hardly a wet area even after weeks of rain and other courses closed .
Fairways and greens immaculate and the course overall is in excellent condition for this time of year.

Deerpark Blue
I played Carlow on a day that Mount Wolseley was closed due to bad weather the night previous. I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman in the pro shop and all the members passing by were more than friendly. I played the course off the blue and it was a good challenge. Par 3s were well protected by well raked bunkers. Cream gravel pathways were a nice touch on route to tee boxes which were all well sign posted. A challenging course but manageable for all standards of golfer. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

Challenging but also quite forgiving, lovely set-up, plenty of space, not at all tight
The hidden gem of the south east !
Best inland links feel course in the country! Really love 16, 17, 18. Fabulous golf course.
