Great day out
Course is laid out very well and held up great in the wet weather, recommend to anyone
Stunning course
Slieve Russell was a beautiful and challenging course that I really enjoyed in spite of the heavy rain. I cant wait to play it dry
Record heat on a cool Irish parkland
I can tell my grandkids I walked a golf course on the hottest day in Emerald Isle history. Playing Slieve Russell actually didn't feel 90-plus degrees because I was too distracted by my match on an excellent course as good as any parkland in Ireland. Too bad this course wasn't more centrally located on a tourist trek in the Southwest or closer to Dublin. It's legit. No wonder it helped groom LPGA player Leona Maguire's game. There's plenty of water and nice rolling hills to create engaging holes. The resort's very splendid, too. It's well worth the stop if you're heading to the Northwest or West like we did out of Dublin.
Just ok
Course not as well manicured or well presented as in previous visits
Beautiful, challenging parkland course, superbly maintained
Played it as a 12 handicapper and found it to be brilliant. Gorgeous layout. Lots of variation in the holes - a few holes play alongside and over lakes. Fairways were lush and the ball sat up on them. Green were really true.
I LOVE this course!
First but not the last
Our first time at the resort and it was a terrific experience. Unfortunately, there had been a lot of rain prior to our arrival and therefore, no driving carts were allowed on the course. We walked. It was tough. It was worth the effort. Hope to make this an annual event.
Great day

A first class golf course experience. Staff friendly and welcoming. The course itself was in great order and perfectly manicured. Well worth the visit. We took a buggy and went round in three hours. Superb
