Needs a turn house!!
Pronghorn needs to add a halfway house!! The distance between 9 green and the clubhouse is too far. Three groups backed up for people wanting drinks and use a restroom. Poor design and a simple fix.
Not worth it!
$95 plus $30 for cart in the winter and a subpar course condition.
We were the only people on the tee sheet. At the counter they told us sorry no carts (not even cart path only!)
No golf club rentals (“brand new, not open yet, sorry”)
Long golf course to make people walk! Just don’t open if it is to give that kind of service.
We tried it because we had a golf trip planned to Bend in the summer for 20 of us. We tried another golf course with splendid service, an amazing golf course and a hotel to take care of us. This was just an experience to forget.
Winter time in Bend
Was able to get out and play. $72 is still a bit pricey for walking and frozen greens.
Expensive Cart Rental
We really enjoyed playing the course. However, $70 cart rental fee (2 people) seemed very expensive especially if you consider that it was cart path only.
Challenging and fun
Had a great Day not a great score on this very enjoyable and challenging course
Greens were lightening fast for November in the PNW and too many 3 putts were the order of the day.
Bottom line I’d come back in a minute if I was a local, instead next Movember weather permitting
First time at Pronghorn
First time playing Pronghorn and it did not disappoint. Weather was perfect and course conditions were phenomenal. Highly recommend playing if you haven't already!
Pro shop staff was very good. My golf cart was not in great shape as the club/ball washer didn’t hold water. There was no water to wet a towel on the range or first tee. No club washers on the range either. No starter as a very slow twosome jumped in front of me on the first tee. No staff to clean clubs after the round. All in all the outside services were nonexistent and my clubs were dirty from the range and stayed that way throughout the round and went into the car dirty. Disappointing for the price of the round.
Very Impressive
It was a gorgeous day, excellent pace of play and a course in top condition. Thoroughly enjoyable!
Great play!
I loved the setting and the amazing challenge that this course can provide. Very walkable, but bring plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. Highly recommend this course!
Boring front nine
This is just an ok layout, especially for the price. The front nine is very bland, not until the back nine is any hole worth a picture. Maintenance crew will be working around you while you play. We played in spring during the rainy season and it seemed incredibly dry, this is despite other nearby courses being plenty green and wet. It seems like mgmt is restricting watering the fairways and chooses to water the greens while you play. Save your money and play one of the other great courses in the bend area.
Pronghorn
Facilities were great, Thought signage between holes should be better. Made a couple of wrong turns.
