Good time golfing at Indian Hills
This is a solid muni in downtown Fort Pierce, FL. Staff are super friendly. Small pro shop with all the essentials including the vital snacks and drinks. Relatively simple layout - with water on a few holes. Some nice little elevation changes and a few doglegs to keep things interesting. Fairways and bunkers in good shape - green were excellent. No GPS and the carts were gas - but they were clean and comfy. In season it’s a fun course for the right price.
I've been playing this course frequently for the pass 3 years. I believe it is in the BEST overall condition in those 3 years!!!!

Needs a lot of work to be done on course. Greens very bumpy

Lush conditions
Indian Hills course conditions have improved a lot. The greens are quality and roll true. A great day of golf!

Getting better - recent improvements are great
In late April, they were closed for about 4 days or so for improvements. They have done a very nice job The tee boxes are great and the greens were very nice. The greens were a little slow but they were lush. Fast or slow is not a big deal for me. They improved the fairways a lot. I hope they keep them more lush like that and let this new grass grow. I like some grass on the fairways so you are not hitting off hardpan. The improvements to the fairways are awesome.
Overall, I was very pleased with the great improvements that did during those 4 days they were closed. The people at the course are always nice..

what happened?
this course was in great overthe winter but something has gone wrong. fairways are full of weeds and bare spots. Greens had alot of bear spots and had to bethe slowestgreens I have ever played. staff was great but course is terrible compared to a couple months ago.
