Trappers Turn Golf Club - Canyon/Arbor

About
The 27 holes of championship golf at Trappers Golf Club are spread across the rolling countryside of Wisconsin Dells, a landscape that was carved by glaciers thousands of years ago. The terrain provided an incredible canvas for course designers Andy North and Roger Packard to work with. They first designed 18 holes, the Canyon and Lake nines and then added the Arbor nine in 2000. The golf courses can be played as three different 18-hole combinations. The Canyon/Arbor Course combines the old and the new. The Canyon is home to Trappers Turn's signature hole, the par-3 seventh, which has an extreme drop in elevation into a small green that sits amidst a glacier-formed canyon but it is not as intimidating a hole as it seems. The scenery continues onto the Arbor nine, which borders the Rocky Arbor State Park.

My New Favorite Course
I’m from Georgia and stopped on a road trip to Minnesota. I live near some great courses north of Atlanta and this is my new favorite. Unfortunately I live about 1,000 miles away, so will look forward to my next trip. Played Arbor and Lake 9s and the putting course. Unfortunately not enough time to play Canyon or the 12 hole par 3, but everything looked great. Challenging greens and pin positions, but beautiful and very fun.
Top course in the Dells
We played a few courses this trip, but the arbor lake 18 was Well groomed with a great layout. I was lucky enough to eagle number 2 on arbor, the par five
The course staff was A plus including the beverage cart driver Emma. I can’t wait to come back again this fall
Exceeded expectations
I've always heard about this course and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. It definitely did. The course is beautiful all of the staff was so kind and courteous. Worth every cent to me.
Great Course!
The course was in peak condition and it was well worth the price! The course was a steal on Golf Now.
Beautiful Day on a Tough Course
I've played Trappers numerous times and I've always enjoyed it. We played on an absolutely beautiful day, 60's, sun with slight breeze. Fairways are not big and some holes have tiny greens. Most holes have penalty areas on either side so it's not a bomb and chip course. Definitely requires you to make golf shots. Love it!
Overall, an excellent course with great facilities. The only issue we had was that the bunkers didn’t have enough sand in the bottom of them. Due to being packed down or wear, we found some had only about an inch at the base which made them difficult to play out of.
Trappers Turn- Great outing!
Overall an outstanding experience! The course was in great condition and was challenging without being demoralizing. The staff were very friendly and helpful for a first- timer. I’d love to play this course again soon!
Great course!!
Heavy rains the day before caused it to be a path only play for the day which slowed down the pace. But the course was great
Love Trapper's
After one of the best buffets in the Dells/Madison area, we look forward to our round of golf at Trappers Turn! Wonderful scenic course with some challenging holes! Feels like one of the nicer courses of wisconsin under tournament level! Shot.my best round ever yesterday, but also had some luck!
Great Place to Play
Everything was in great shape, tee, fairways and greens. New carts with soft seats. Clubhouse is great and so is their food.
