Adare Manor Golf Club

About
Not to be confused with its famous nextdoor neighbor - the Golf Course at Adare Manor will host the 2026 Ryder Cup - the Adare Manor Golf Club is a shorter course (a par 69 playing roughly 5,800 yards) that's long on personality. It roams through a cemetery, an old friary and some castle ruins. It's origins date to 1900 but it has been tweaked multiple times by Roger Rulewich and legendary Irish architect Eddie Hackett.

Ryder cup 2027
Thought I was booking where Ryder cup 2027 is being played . Hahaha. This is the old course and was pleasantly surprised with the course overall. Greens and fairways are in great shape . Friendly starter , pro shop was closed on the day I went . Would play again .
Nice track.
Nice track. Easy to walk and great price.
Good but slow play
Good it was cold as 4 ladies held us up , as they were not keeping up with group ahead , we expected they would let us through , but no and we were waiting from Hole 3 to 9 where they proceeded to count their scores on the 9th green while we waited.
We asked if we could skip to 11th hole - two ladies said yes then 3rd one came shouting after us that we should be behind them.
To me it was very poor and lacking in golf manners . Haven’t had that experience before.
Otherwise course good
Great course for its green fee
Course plays short but difficult, many tight tee shots and dogleg fairways. Super condition.
Beautiful.
I really enjoyed this course. There is a beautiful old stone church in the middle of it which is a beautiful feature. Not major water features to worry about. Fairways cross a couple of times which I don’t generally like but I would return here.
Loved this course
The course was amazing. Wonderful fairways with spectacular scenery including amazing historical monuments. We really enjoyed our round followed by nice refreshments in the friendly clubhouse.
Great conditions
The course is on the short side, the fairways are narrow, but it does not have long grass, so you won’t lose your balls even if you don’t hit the fairways. The course conditions are excellent.
Great value.
I am a visitor from US. So I took a taxi to get there, by the time I finished, it was late and I couldn’t get a taxi back. Luckily, a very nice Irish just gave me a ride back to my hotel.
