Fun half-links not far north of Dublin
Seapoint flies somewhat under the radar, mostly for understandable reasons. It’s not in the same tier as the Dublin area’s more heralded links because it is only partially a links course itself. The front nine plays inland and is enjoyable, but the showpiece here is the back, and especially the rumpled fairway and dune-tucked green complex of the 16th, which would be right at home at any of Ireland’s top seaside courses.
The facilities are pleasant, the people are unfailingly cheerful and green fees are about half of the more famous links, which is about right for this enjoyable side-dish to a Dublin-area trip.
Great course
The course was in great condition even after overnight rain and the views on the back 9 are spectacular
Great day out
We traveled from sodden North down to play as a mixed four ball. Our own parkland course has been extremely wet so the idea of playing on dry links was very appealing.
We were very lucky with the weather as it was sunny, bright and not too windy. The course was in super condition. We all played fairly well and had a great day out. Will definitely play here again 😎
Average course
Course was in good condition I got a good deal with the price on hot deals through the app. But what they're asking for now around €100 now, course is definitely not worth it at that value. They need to come out of the clouds and get real with a fair price it's at best €24-50 course, it's not a true Links golf course, the front 9 in inland making the overall feel abit weird.
Fun and Friendly
Always an enjoyable round at Seapoint. We make a point of playing here when visiting this part of Ireland as it's a fun layout with interesting holes. Always in fine condition.
The welcome is always warm, from the pro shop, to the members (who are happy to chat with overseas visitors) to the staff in the clubhouse bar and restaurant.
Great warmup facility with putting green, driving range and two pitching and chipping greens
A Gem
Definitely worth the drive from Dublin to play this course. Nice layout great green’s beautiful views
Hidden Jewel
Hidden jewel, amazing for the prize. I’ve played top 10 courses in the world and the greens are just like the best. Amazing value for money. Hard to tell if next door Baltray is better for the price difference.
irish golf break
An outstanding golf course which I'd recommend to anyone looking to play golf in County Louth
Superb greens, friendly club
Fun course to play, forgiving and firm fairways, excellent greens. Front nine is a parkland feel with plenty of well placed hazards and ponds. You can hear the waves off the Irish Sea through most of it. Course turns to full out links as you move to the back nine. First few holes appear innocent but will punish poor shots. Stunning views overlooking the Sea on the challenging final 4-5 holes.
Staff and members were very welcoming and helpful. I’ll be back.
Slightly disappointing
Fab location and superb layout.
Practice facilities a let down as well as course maintenance.
Underrated gem North of Dublin
Very nice course with 4 amazing finishing holes. Everyone was very friendly and the new club house and restaurant are very nice
