About
The Medalist Golf Club is one of the most prestigious private golf clubs in the Jupiter/Palm Beaches area. Major champion Greg Norman was involved in the club's founding, and co-designed the original course with legendary architect Pete Dye. Since its founding, the club has counted among its membership several PGA Tour pros, including Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka and others. The most recent renovation to the golf course, by Dye protege Bobby Weed, added eight "Tiger" tee boxes, which stretched the course to more than 7,500 yards. Wetlands, pine straw and sod-walled bunkers define the layout, which is one of the toughest in Florida with a maxed-out Slope of 155 from the tips.

Medalist
Medalist Golf Club is a fantastic experience, however it is very difficult. Greg Norman brought a piece of Royal Melbourne to the southeast coast of Florida. The course conditions at Medalist are a large part of the courses challenge; the greens are firm and fast with lies around the greens that are very tight. There is some room off the tee, but the cost of missing the fairway is severe. The clubhouse and men's grill room are very cool and the practice facilities are great. A unique course in Florida and absolutely worth playing if given the opportunity, but bring an extra dozen golf balls.
