Key Colony Beach Golf & Tennis

Was a little chilly at the pool. So my son and I found this 9 hole par 3 course and decided to go. My game is fading son’s game gaining both of us rusty from Michigan cold weather. Started with about 5 clubs in hand, but reduced that to a wedge and a putter after the 1st. From 66 to 136 yards and postage stamp sized greens it’s all about your short game. Staff was great... course record -7 not threatened by us. But had an awesome time and will definitely be back.

Quaint little par 3, 9 hole course on the Florida Keys. It's my first time on the Keys and I was surprised to find so little interesting golf courses in such a beautiful place. This course is small, not super well maintained, but I felt welcome instantly and really enjoyed my short round. They've struggled since hurricane Irma (as did everyone on the Florida Keys) so had a hard time to maintain the course. The number of visitors is picking up again and just for that reason - to support this friendly neighborhood course - I would urge everyone who's in the area to give it a try. 13 bucks + 3 for (old) rental clubs is extremely fair priced, and well worth the investment to help this place rebuild! Oh and if you're lucky you might run into the occasional iguana!
