Whitetail Ridge Golf Course

About
Located in Thornville, Whitetail Ridge Golf Course (previously known as Country View Golf Club) is a nine-hole, par-36 course that is less than an hour from downtown Columbus. The scenic course sprawls across a verdant, rolling landscape that offers enjoyable views from nearly every hole. Opened in 2001, the golf course is relatively new but it is a welcome addition to the bevy of nine-hole courses in central Ohio. The layout features challenging greens and strategically placed bunkers coming into play throughout. There are also well positioned trees to watch out for. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are Bermuda grass. It is a versatile golf course that is player friendly enough for beginners but it won't bore experienced players. Four sets of tees allows players at Whitetail Ridge Golf Course to further adjust the game to their tastes and abilities.

Some beautiful views, challenging holes, and friendly staff
One of our favorites, we like to play a few times a year even though it's a drive. This is a 12 hole course, that's worth the getting off the beaten path to play.
It sucked & owner is a crybaby I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there .too many people at once then they cry cause they gotta wait I won’t go there again
Dump
Charged full price just to hit a few practice holes and try out a new driver . Originally designed to be pretty tough course back in late 90s I think. With another 9 planned eventually. Plays off the sides of a ridge with nice views surrounded by some scrub woods. Literally every shot is ball above your feet. None of the tees were ever graded level. They ground is clay , hard as rock
Good Brian Huntley Course
I make an effort to play all of Mr. Huntley’s courses that I can and am usually glad I did. Whitetail Ridge is another very good Huntley course.
Must play if in the area.
Great Track, Way Better Than I Expected
So yep, My name is Stan. Took up golf at 40, so did wife ! We joined private club in Sugarland, Tx. 1994. Be that said, I had the opportunity to visit my lifelong best friend for new years ! 47 yrs best friend, blessed too. So, he lives across the road. Great track ! Please enjoy !
Great Course
This is by far the best course in the area. It is a 12 hole course located in hills which adds great views. The greens are in great condition with very little dry patches. The staff is extremely friendly and it is a fair price to play. Only down fall to this course is that there is no driving range and pace of play is sometimes rough since there are no tee times.
A Hidden Gem!!!
This is a great intermediate course! Beautiful views! The greens are a good challenge for all skill levels. The staff is super friendly!! It’s my favorite course around at the moment.
Have never liked it . Ground hard as a rock , they tried to get some fairway over hard as a rock clay . Tees have never been leval . They charged me over 30$ just to go out and hit a few practice holes in late March. Plays off the sides of a ride ,ever shot is ball above your feet . Scrub woods around the edges of the property. .I think they've been toiling away with this place since the late 90s
