Timacuan Golf Club

In central Florida I have never seen any golf course decline as severely as Timicuan has in the past 2 years. The greens 2 years ago were fast and smooth. Now they are slow and inconsistent. Best to worst in only 2 years time.
The fairways were adequate 2 years ago. Now they are in rough shape.
Their greenskeeoer left within the past year. It really shows.

This place is a dumpster fire of a course and the money they're asking is ridiculous, tee boxes trashed fairways mostly bad, and the greens are even worse , it was a great track its sad to see it where it is now . I wont be back for a long time if ever

I've always loved Timacuan's layout. the course has improved since playing it a few months back. Overall in good shape, but there are sporadic dead patches in the fairways and tee boxes. I just chose to move my ball onto some grass if i was in one of those bald spots. greens were good but also some sporadic bald patches too. I'll play it again for sure.

Love this course, have played many times but not in the last 3 years. Course had a lot of bare spots and weeds. Greens were smooth and traps were in decent shape.

Great value for the money. Course was in pretty good condition. Not sure if they’re switching out GPS systems on their cards, but none of them appeared to be working. We would definitely go back.

Didn't have any warm up, 0 range balls because we were sitting there waiting for a cart. Showed up 45 mins early to hit balls and didn't get to hit one pre round. 5 carts hanging out on the 18th green and no worker would go over there and say anything when they didn't have enough carts

Greens rolled very well. Course still has winter like conditions. Fairways and tee boxes sparse grass in many areas. Enjoy the layout . It was a good play at hot deal price.

The course was in fair condition at best. Probably a great course in its prime but we won't be coming back, especially at the price. The Members though... each golfer had their own cart and had a ridiculous rate of play. We shoot mid-90's and they were on us from the start, often making gestures for us to speed up. You'd think with playing this much golf they'd be a bit happier.

Course was in very poor shape very slow play no Marshalls no starters. Course is not worth the money play was so slow we had to quit

Enjoyed the layout very much. If one never misses a fairway or green, this would have been enjoyable. Unfortunately, the rest of the course was dismal at best. Nothing but hard pan and weeds. The only employee we’ spoke to in the pro shop pointed us to the carts and that was it. Drive the cart to the bag drop and loaded ourselves. No starter or guidance afterwards. Tees off 30 minutes early. Played through one group and waited for slower players the last three holes. Still played in 3 1/2 hours. At least the pain didn’t last too long.
