Forest Oaks Golf Club in Lake Worth is a public course that is still one of south Florida's best-kept secrets despite having good conditions and affordable rates. The golf course offers an enjoyable round that is challenging but playable. Opened in the 1970s, it has a classic layout that showcases what Florida golf courses are known for. It is a tight layout that requires a fair amount of accuracy but beginners won't feel too out of their league. The layout offers an excellent transition from an executive course. It measures less than 6,000 yards, offering a quick and enjoyable round for more advanced players. Forest Oaks G.C. offers the quality and conditions of a country club course but the friendly and casual atmosphere of a public facility.

Challenging !
It was the first time that I ever played this golf course, it was very challenging and much harder than it looked! It is too bad that this course is closing as I would play it again.
Greens were tough
The greens are pretty rough. Seem to be different types of grass with lots of “tufts” sticking up. It was so rough we ended up using a two put maximum rule!
Staff are very friendly, and the rest of the course is Ok.

Good practice course
The staff was very friendly. Since we played in the middle of the week it was not crowded. No driving range made warm up difficult. We were informed by the outside services person that the course will be closing and housing will take its place, so no money was being put in for upkeep and maintenance. Still, it was in decent shape considering. Has some challenging par 3's and small greens.
Relatively easy course worth the bang for your buck
Great find
This is a great little course. Posted yardage is short but plays longer. Fun layout and unassuming but great clubhouse.
Unplayable- No fairways - Weeds on green
Potentially the worst , most disgusting course I’ve played. It is unplayable, fairways are dirt, greens are equivalent to a normal fairway. Do not play here.
Tough great greens
Staff a plus layout and greens a plus when every other course is ripping everyone off with 100 rounds of golf forest oaks is 50 that’s like a bogo st public’s. Seriously the greens are in great shape the course is tough and tight.
