About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Great deal on a beautiful course
The course is in excellent condition. Greens fairways bunkers are all top-notch. Excellent deal for the price. Much better deal than all the Naples area courses. Truly top-notch country club condition on this course. Played in the afternoon and played in 3 1/2 hours.

Great Course to Play
If you don’t mind traveling inland from Naples it’s definitely worth the trip. From the practice area to the course it’s well maintained and a fun track to play.

Beautiful Course
The layout and the condition of the course are the best that I have played on Florida. Wide fairways give you the opportunity keep your tee shot in play. Lots of water (gators) and traps that come into play if you hit an errant shot. I would have rated the overall experience excellent except for the way we were treated by the course ranger when we were headed back to the clubhouse at dusk. Making our way back after playing 15 holes he came up to us and very rudely told us to go to the clubhouse.... Which is what we were doing. He then followed us 5' behind our cart until we got within sight of the clubhouse when he sped past us.... Just a little thing, but really not necessary.

Needed Handicap sticker
Outstanding course conditions. But their handicap sticker didn’t stop the cart from making us put it in reverse to get out

Always a treat to play.
The fairways were not cut close as in my past experiences which cut into distance with rolls. The greens were also slower than in the past. Otherwise, the course was in beautiful condition.
