Yocha Dehe Golf Club at Cache Creek Casino Resort

Challenging when windy! Played yesterday and today and with the wind today (April 13th, husband’s birthday round) it was difficult (e.g. 7 more shots today vs yesterday’s round with a HCP 11). Course fairways and greens appear to have been re-sodded in several areas, but it did not impact play. Word of caution, there are quite a bit of native areas so need to be aware near native areas, as the snakes were out today and yesterday and they were aggressive.

I have told me on vacation in California, wedding, friends, golfing and sightseeing. I have had this course on my wish list. I called days before to get teetime and was told it was 150 dollars all day. My friend and I decided to go, so I had my wife book a spa treatment at Cache Creek. I was committed to booking the course of noticed that the greens had been punched, my buddies would have to drive over 2 hours to play. I wish that the person would have told me of the course conditions. My buddies bailed on playing. Overall the course was very plush with the exception of the greens.

Like the other enjoyable rounds I had. Still great conditions and every hole takes some good planning. Only disappointment is the men's shower room remained broken so pls fix it asap. Everything and everyone are wonderful.

Third time playing here and was great again. Course was so ready, but the recent rains had cart path only which if you are not in shape gonna wear you out. Be prepared to walk a lot. Like I said with the rains course was just a bit to moist no fault obviously of management. Greens in great shape but a bit slow for me.

One thing to add and it's a shame. The pulling of the MILITARY DISCOUNT. Who ever made this decision is wrong for it. Pass practice should be adhered to in my opinion especially this one. Will probably never play it again over this decision and will get the word out to the numerous people I know and let them make there choice on this change in policy. Spoke to other players at the course on this day and they were shocked at this change and not happy. Also heard complaints on some players card they made changes to as well. Been a good ride, but the corporate decision over a few extra dollars is where you lose me.

This course is 1.5hours from my house here in NorCal. I have been told by everyone I know that has played Yocha Dehe that it's the best course they ever played. So my expectations were high. The tee times are more pricey than your normal public course around NorCal, roughly twice as expensive, so at first I was apprehensive to go. After the round yesterday, I was angry I waited so long to experience this fantastic venue. The staff is clearly trained in hospitality, everyone was overly accommodating and made me feel like I was a VIP. The course had fairway maintenance going on, so several holes were CPO, but the overall condition including the fairways was unbelievable. PGA course quality for sure. The opening tee shot is epic. Food and drinks prices were very fair, all the facilities were top notch, the starter was a legend. After playing this course, it ruins you from going to your local muni. 10/10 will be back.

Hands down, this is the best course I’ve ever played . Beats any private club. 5 stars
