A walk on n the parc
Beautiful layout with amazing water hazards and trees.
The greens were - for the most part - quite amazing!
The fringes were dead! This was really the most disappointing part of the course.
Tee boxes could’ve been in better shape but did in no way impact the experience negatively.
Figure out how to fix the fringes and I will go out of my way to come back!
Course in less than favorable condition
Range ok, chipping green not good, putting green not good. Pace of play was miserable! Fairways were decent. Many greens w bad areas. Does anyone fix a divot any more! Very over priced for the condition.
Crazy expensive for the quality
Pretty boring layout. Basic. Bunkers fairways and tees are decent. Greens seem diseased. All of them have a chewed patch. They all roll different speeds. The ladies in the clubhouse are pretty grumpy. They were out of coffee by 915am without having a restaurant open. All that for $150. This is a $40 course in Northern California or Texas.
Disappointing Day
Nice layout, was expecting better conditions for the price. Massive dead areas on many of the greens, and many had been resodded around 80-90% of the fringe, meaning that you had to pick up from ground under repair and go to a greenside drop atea to continue play. For $145 I was expecting more. I would consider playing here again if the conditions were better, but not for the price charged.
Took too long
4 hours and 48 minutes with an 8:46 tee time
We found out after the round that they stack the tee times 6 minutes apart.
They have a lot of nerve to charge what they charge and deliver a course that is in terrible shape and plays in Just under 5 hours
I was told the course is closing after the season for major renovations, which are in dire need. It looks like they have checked out from a maintenance perspective.
I won’t go back until the renovations are complete.
Disappointed...
Played this course frequently when we lived in North Bay Village a few years ago.
Now, visiting friends we really wanted to play at our favorite course!
Now we found it expensive, and the course was in bad shape. Greens and fore green were affected by mould, uneven and full of ball marks... Fairways wasn't good either. Poorly maintained.
There will sadly not be another round at Miami Shores Country Club.
Course is in awful shape
The course hasn't been maintained and is a complete disaster right now. The tee boxes are the best part, in terms of conditioning, and that's saying something because they aren't great either.
Fairways are a mess, but really the biggest disasters are the greens. The greens are putting over sandy divots everywhere, and the fringes are hardpan dirt and dust. Its just not been taken care of and its a joke to charge what they charge for a course in this condition. I would recommend picking any other course.
Very nice course
I enjoyed very much this course, it has a good greens and fairways are in excellent conditions, maybe they have to improve the signaling.
Fairways & Greens in Rough Shape
The fairways were missing grass in a lot of places. The greens were also missing grass in places. There was a lot of fertilizer on the greens along with sand. Paid $140 pp to play and it was worse than most municipal courses. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The Pro Shop was pretty well stocked. We’ve played Miami Shores before but the conditions were never like this and as nonresidents we paid less than $140 pp. Won’t play this course again.
Needs better management
Check in was smooth. Driving range did not open until 1 pm therefore no practice is available for morning tee times. Pace of play was very slow and not monitored even called pro shop to make as request nothing happened. Ball marks are not being filled on greens. The back 9 had better playing conditions compared to the front. Overall 3/10 would not go back and extremely overpriced for the value of the course.
