Great course for golfers of all levels. Staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Course is in great shape with well placed penalty areas and bunkers. Excellent value for the price. Great practice areas. Would recommend this course to any golfer
Great course
You will probably only lose 5-6 balls if you are a beginner like I. Course is pretty easy and hard if you have a draw. Have fun I always do. ::ok emoji:: had to type it won’t let me put real thing.
Good course
Great course great staff. Patron are just as nice. They don’t argue or rush you. Let you play through as needed.
Decent course
Desert Lakes is a decent course that is generally worth the money. The greens this year were in better shape than I remember them, although the fairways need some improvement. Not a difficult course but still fun.
A nice course to play
Desert Lakes is not extremely difficult, nor is it tricky. Its usually in good conditions, but the bunkers tend to be shallow, mostly due to frequent high winds. The front 9 is relatively protected by trees and homes, but the back 9 is much more difficult in the wind.
One of Southern New Mexico's Finest Golf Courses
Well placed sand bunkers from tee to green. Excellent putting surfaces. Other accommodations are the four practice areas for honing in on all aspects of one's game.
