Querencia Country Club - Tom Fazio Course

About
Situated amidst the beauty of Los Cabos, Querencia Golf & Country Club is located at the small tip of the Baja California peninsula. The sparkling blue waters of the Sea of Cortez nearly enclose the beautiful terrain. Tom Fazio designed one of the two courses at Querencia. It is his first golf course in Mexico and it has made quite a name for itself. Golfweek ranked it as the Mexico's no. 1 course. The layout is spread over 300 acres, weaving through deep arroyos and climbing up to cool, arid plateaus. Its particular location allows for a combination of desert, sea, and city views. The contoured fairways are lined with ancient cacti and palm trees, but they are generous and offer a little room for error. It is a golf course that will appeal to both beginners and more experienced players.

Amazing Golf Course
This is my favorite Golf Course in Los Cabos and is probably one of the best Desert Courses in the world.
Very curvy fast Greens but super consistent, Great Ocean Views from almost every hole.
I have been a fan of Tom Fazio Designs, and this one is a master piece. Also the Club house is complete and filled with amenities. Probably one of the best communities to live year round around the world.
Amazing Golf Course
My favorite Golf Course in Mexico and probably one of the best Desert Courses in the World. I am a big fan of Tom Fazio Designs, and this one is a master piece!
Also I loved the fact that the Club House and all amenities are finished! Hard to find a better place to live!
A club that's Cabo cool
I got lucky on my first trip to Cabo in 2009. A local I met had a connection to play Querencia, so I rearranged my schedule to play. What an experience. I remember thinking this must be what Augusta is like ... the tight lies, no blades of grass were out of place, the perplexing green complexes. We were the only ones at the course. I didn't see another soul. It was the first time I was introduced to a "comfort station", buildings on the course where all the food and drink you want is free. The only thing missing from Querencia is the ocean. There are great panoramic views of the water from the hilly land, but there's no hole directly on the shore to remember. That's the only minor criticism I can send Querencia's way. It's a cool place.
