Best bang for your buck
Took the ole miss out to okay her first 9 of golf and it was a great course to introduce her to. Most par 3’s and very fun to play. Besides outside staff having an ego trip of pace of play (most people are out there for fun, new to the game, or there to shoot a quick 9 for fun) sneakily throwing attitude underneath new players it was a fun experience
Great Value and Friendly Service at Texas 9
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff member, which set a great tone for the round. The clubhouse was clean and well kept, always a good sign before hitting the course. I had booked through GolfNow, and the staff gave me a helpful heads up that two other players had booked the same time and deal, ensuring I knew what to expect at the first tee.
The course itself has a nice layout, though at times, I found myself hoping that other golfers wouldn’t tee off too soon, as the holes play fairly close to one another. That being said, for the price, the course conditions, and the solid customer service, it was absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back!
Diamond in the Rough- getting better all the time
I've always loved the driving range & practice greens...
The Course Greens have GREATLY over the last 6 months and overall course looks good.
TWO area's for improvement...
1) BUNKERS- have HARD compacted muddy sand. Adding real sand in all of this course's bunkers would add a great dynamic/upgrade to the course.
2) No Grill - we keep hearing about a coming "vendateria" packaged processed food?... BUT nothing beats having a real grill.
...you could cater to the Waterchase Golfers (like you do with your driving range), Enoch Employees & residents of the Villa's at Waterchase...
I know I would probably make a day of it, play 9 in the morning, have a bite to eat and possibly play another 9. Maybe create a promotional package like that?
Easy and fun course
Besides the sand being a little rocky and hard, the course quality is great and especially great for beginner golfers who want to practice on their irons.
Executive course
Great for practice and honing in irons / wedges. Nice layout and surprisingly lots of water. Would play again for under 30 bucks.
Great for kids too
Great course to polish up your irons . Play from the blacks and a great pace of play
Solid Course!
The greens looked phenomenal, one of the best 9 holes out there. Quick 9 in the morning and got home before noon! Not bad to play a round on a Sunday for $30. I will be going back for sure!
Excellent 9-hole outing
Josh and his crew do a magnificent job with customer service, impeccable attention to the grounds, and making this beginner/novice feel welcome to keep growing his game. Recommend this to anyone wanting to fit in 9 on their own or come out with a group.
First time at Texas 9
Went to practice on short game with the par 3s and deff got a good practice courses have a good level of difficulty specially if you want to improve short game play
Pretty good experience
I’m not very good at all played by myself brought my daughter along guy was nice at the counter ambient charge me cart fee for my daughter. Greens were pretty slow but good shape fairways all dead nice par 3 course. Range was nice good yardage signs
Great staff
Greens are perfectl staff is friendly love coming before work for a quick round of golf.
Getting Better every round
Texas-9 is my "Go-To" whenever I need to hit the driving range or want to get a quick 9 holes in. The course is challenging, with 3 & 9 being my "kryptonite"...
Since Summer of 2024, the greens on this course keep getting better and better with each visit!!! (last summer they were a mess)
...Anxious for the Grill to re-open.
