Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club - Par 3 Course

About
The Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club offers two courses, an 18-hole championship course and the Par 3 Course, with an excellent location in the center of the city just minutes away from the Dubai National Airport. Although the Par 3 Course is shorter, it still offers the same challenges and scenic views as Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club's Championship Course. Like the longer course, there are rolling fairways and plenty of water hazards. The nine-hole course, however, has the unique feature of being floodlit to allow late night play. In addition to both courses, the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club offers a driving range and practice facilities that also stay open late.

Challenging for Beginners, Perfect for Short Game practice
It was a challenging and frustrating time playing golf on a course for the first ever time but I loved the course. It is challenging enough for beginner golfers to try to figure out how to play it and easy enough for more experienced golfers to practice their accuracy and short game.
Worth a visit in my opinion.
excellent par 3 course especially for beginners
I initially had a whole day practice session ( driving range only @ with their set rentals ) in December 2019, and managed to spend the whole new year off day @ 1st until 4th Jan 2020 playing the par 3 course daily here ( brought my own set )
The playing area are bit short and narrow but it does helps in building confidence to play golf especially for newbies like me, As the weather was a bit cold @ early morning on my first day the fairway was a bit sticky( ball doesn't roll much . Hole 5 is a bit tricky with the water hazard not forgiving for any miss hit or slices from the tee sends you reaching for another ball :) . Overshooting /miscalculation of the yardage had also caused me extra strokes in a number of the short holes here.
As they are reconstructing a portion of the par 3 area for a new tennis court , 1st green starts differently from the rights of the construction area rather than inside ( i had attached the revised course @ drawn rather crudely by me so as to assist and get clearer picture of the latest course)
Facilities wise..the club /academy reception.staffs, restaurant @ Jones grocer ..all and each one of them are the best ever..all are professional, greets you and always smiles whenever you meet them. Pro shop staff are knowledgeable and very helpful.

great course for beginners to try the challenge of playing larger course
It was my first time playing at Dubai Creek Par 3 Golf Course ( my earlier visit in December was only for the driving range ) for the new year holidays, I brought my own set and played the par 3 course everyday from ( 1st Jan till 4th ) The course might be fairly easy for experienced player but for me as a newbie in golfing it does provide challenge especially in properly estimating the range/yardage for the first hit from tee as a miscalculation might send your ball further from the target or as i learned from hole 5 , i usually sliced my ball trying to get it over the water and nearest possible to the pin ..should have hit it straight ..fairly center on the green would do actually..
Facility wise..this course/ club is the best ever. All the staff there are very nice ,professional, courteous and helpful.Food was great.
I had added the updated course layout i draw my self (from google map too) as the one attached here is a bit different @ they actually had 90% finished the new tennis court construction, so the 1st hole had been made shorter and tee area for hole 4 was also moved up a bit.
