Emirates Golf Club - The Majlis Course

The Majlis course at the Emirates Golf Club is a must on any serious golfers bucket list. I played the course in March of 2016 and the weather was perfect. The course was in amazing shape with fast greens. The scenery around the course is amazing as well! The green fees are higher than your typical USA golf course, but it is well worth it!!! Take the time to get their early to walk to amazing club house and see the previous champions of the Omega Desert Classic in the men's locker room.

I was fortunate enough to have lived in the middle east from 1995-2006 & in that time it provided me a front row seat to watch the golf industry develop & mature into one of the premier destinations for golf, professional & otherwise. Every year millions of golf fans look forward to what is now known as the European PGA Tour's middle east swing consisting of The Dubai Desert Classic, The Doha Qatar Masters & The Abu Dhabi Championship. Since 1989 the Emirates Majlis Course has hosted the likes of Ernie Els, Seve Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal, Colin Montgomerie, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Darren Clarke, Padraig Harrington & Sergio Garcia among countless others. An enviable layout that offers probably one of the most dramatic & ever changing skylines, a unique clubhouse, incomparable practice facilities & friendly staff will make for a memorable round of golf. This is a destination that should be on every golfers bucket list.
