Great course in the Canary Islands

Played here while visiting Tenerife in August.

Course - nice layout, challenging but generous. Plenty of downhill holes to help with distance. Course was in ok condition, fairways a bit dry but this is their slow season. Greens were fast and undulating, difficult to get a read.

Walkable, but you get a workout. Fairways are tough because several are staggered in ‘shelves’ so you can’t walk down the middle because there’s big drop offs. You have to walk along the side to the proper shelf then enter to hit your ball.

Very scenic, multiple holes looking into the ocean.

Pace - I was the first one out so no prob here

Value - not cheap, but overall I found it decent value for a destination course, even with having to rent clubs.

Would definitely play again.
