I have played this course about six times due to its proximity to the condo I stay at in PCB. My most recent trip found the course in the worst shape I’ve ever seen it. It looked ok from the road but the greens were very rough and most had been heavily sanded. They have always been slow but they were almost unbearable. Fairways were ok but looked like they needed water. Drought may be to blame. The only positive was I went around the track as a single in 2 hrs 10 min. With other courses in the area that are better, this may be my last trip to Signal Hill.
Enjoyed the afternoon
I brought my clubs on vacation and enjoyed the course....but any day on a course is good! Wish we would have been told about the course closing at sunset. We were very rushed to finish up and made worse by running into 4 groups of slower playing seniors in front of us with only a couple holes to go.
The course conditions carried a little but wern't bad. I would play it again.
Easy front 9, Challenging back 9
Great course to play. Easy on the front, but difficult on the back. Downfall is no driving range
