Marcus Pointe Golf Club

Marcus Point is a great golf course and always in great shape. the greens suffered a bit from the cold weather but the staff is addressing the problem

The greens were half dirt, some green/bent grass. Fairways brown and hard

Course in great shape and maybe 3 greens with a little stress. Overall a wonderful day on the course.

Love this course! Fairways very nice. A number of the green are showing signs of distress but the course management appears to be addressing that.

As expected this course is still upgrading course conditions, which have been amazing. The putting Greens are quite rough looks like they have been under some type of repairs after weed invasion. I'll give this course a few weeks time before playing again giving the staff some time for growth and maintenance. I'm not knocking this course, but the greens are in rough shape. The staff at Marcus pointe have proven they can resolve this issue with time. If you played this course in February of 2023 you have seen the turn around they made. I have 100% expectations they'll bring the greens back better than ever. Can't wait to play this course again in about another month. High expectations await.

Paid 65 ea through golf now, walkups got 20% off due to poor conditions of the course.

Course was in terrible. Greens are in the worst shape Ive ever seen.

Disappointed, golfed the course a month prior but yesterday the greens were not so good, patchy, seeding didn't quite take or fungus possibly. Loved all that has been done the past few months with newer carts and GPS. Will check it out in a month to see if it's gotten better since I do enjoy golfing MP.

Marcus pointe has rebounded from 2 years ago to the absolute best reconditioned, repaired, rebounded and maintained golf course hand's down in the entire greater Pensacola and surrounding areas. You will not be disappointed, with this course and value.

This is the best course to play at in this area. By far best kept greens and overall course management. No golfer no matter the skill set would be upset or find this course to be short of superb.

Finding an available tee time and noting other open times nearby at Marcus Pointe is no guarantee of starting on time or playing smoothly.
I hoped to get in a round on a weekday to avoid crowds and play quickly. Because the course was actually booked continuously, I was asked to joins group of three and share a cart. Not a problem the three were easy going and kept a sense of humor. But ahead of us were 3 carts with 3 players and 3 riders. A 3.5 hour round became 4.5 to 5.
Fairways were in good shape for spring, greens variable and areas around greensand sand traps were messy. MarcusPpointe has been one of the best courses in the area, but public, and its weekday crowd suggests the word is out.
