Great conditions, but slow play
This is a very nice course, in great condition. The pace of play, though, was awful. I gave up on the 11th hole after 2and-a-half hours, and two groups waiting on the tee. I will try again, though.

Great shape!
A few years ago, I thought this course would never recover. Over the last year or so, it has made a remarkable change. Kudos to the greens keepers and the staff at Crystal Lake! The greens are immaculate, fairways are beautiful, and tee boxes are well maintained. I love this course. The only negative is that it doesn’t go back to the clubhouse after the 9th hole, so be sure to grab waters etc before heading out. Would really be nice to have a small refreshment station between 9 and 10 with sandwiches and drinks.

Nice course, friendly staff, terrible layout
The course is nice but not well marked, unless you are very familiar - it is not easy to navigate. It does not logically progress forward (at least not the front 9). A few signs could help a lot

Very good condition, patches of grass missing in some fairways otherwise great. Maybe they should lower the price for seniors during the week days.

Having just played both courses at RTJ Grand National, the green speeds were significantly slower, they were in good condition but the speeds were more to our liking. We were a 4 ball playing the course for the 1st time and found the pace of play was good.

Very nice course
The course is in exceptional condition. Fairways are nicely groomed if you can stay in them. LOL. The greens are in great shape. I’ve played this course twice now and both times we had incredibly slow groups (plural) in front. Plan on a 5 hour outing on the weekend. This course can be deceivingly challenging but forgiving at the same time. I highly recommend the course.

One of the best courses in the Atlanta area. Beautiful course that will make you feel like your on vacation. Very affordable. Great conditions. Open fairways easy to use the driver if you can control and avoid some houses and bunkers.
