Carl needs to retire, quit, or be fired
Came out to play this course on 19 June. Had called earlier to see about a tee time. Woke the clubhouse attendant Carl up. Said he had overslept. Asked about a tee time. Said didnt need one always open during week. Showed up at 912 course opened at 900. Walked in pro shop to be greeted by Carl with what do I want? Ask about playing 18. Said there were no carts available. People came in and got all the carts(8 carts were on hand when I was there at 815 - I came to check course out) Said didnt know where all these people came from. Told him it was a holiday which he said do you celebrate it? I told him I was a govt employee and had the day off so what did it matter if I did or didnt. He then asked what holiday was it. Told him Juneteenth which he then asked if I still celebrated it. I asked could I walk the course and he said we dont want people to walk our course(???) Said it was too long. Told him I walk all the time and how much was it. He said same as riding in a cart. I ask why the same price he said I dont make the prices so thats why we dont want people to walk. Said reason there were no carts was because people keep stealing the carts and the company that works on their golf carts wont fix them. Beware if you decide to come and play. Call in advance and find out about cart availability and also see if Carl is working. Might be a bad day
