No water
I played the front 9. No water stations. I dont recall any toilets on the course. I did not see a beverage cart while I was playing. .No ice container on cart. IMO these are basic necessities for a golf course.
Slow play
They started us on the back nine. We followed a fivesome? And they were slow but we were assured that they were finishing the round and had already played the front nine and there would be no one ahead of us after that. Somehow we ended I up behind two adults and four kids on the front nine so we had to skip a hole and go around them as they didn’t offer to let us play through. The course was nice though.
Like the Terminator: I'll be back
In preparing for an outing I'm playing at Majestic Springs at the end of September, I gathered my foursome for a "scouting round" having never played this course before. I've heard many good comments and many local friends play here regularly....I'll be joining those ranks! Loved the layout and the variety of holes...great challenges throughout! Friendly staff both in the clubhouse as well as the beer garden grill....and yes, the $9 burger is worth it!
Nice course, but kinda slow
This is a nice public course and is in good shape considering the weather we’ve had this year. I enjoyed the layout - required a range of shots off the tee. Hot dogs at the turn were tasty. Course feels appropriately priced for what it is.
The driving range is across the road and pretty torn up, but it is what it is. Tee boxes are quite hard currently, but not a big deal. I’ll consider playing this course more regularly if the pace of play improves. 5 hours for a round is trying. No rangers keeping things honest.
A beautiful day at Majestic Golf Course
We’ve played here about 5-6 times since we discovered it a year ago. It’s a bit of a hike north Cincinnati. But I think worth the trip. It is a country course and the surrounding area is beautiful. I’d recommend playing earlier in the morning as I think they get a lot of play and leagues on many days. We teed off about 11:00am and easily got around in just over 4 hours. But we’ve been here when it’s busy and it can be slow.. some of the holes are ordinary and hilly, but many are fun and challenging fully leveraging the hills, creeks and ponds. They have GPS on some, but not all carts, so grab the right one. They have a nice open air “19th” hole that you can get a post round beer or cocktail.
Do not play if you don’t have all day.
Last two times we played it took between five hours and fifteen minutes and five hours thirty minutes. No ranger to check pace of play no employee checking pace of play. When you report it to the front desk they say sorry but act like they could care less. Not very friendly and they have seen us for the last time.
Not a secret anymore
Booked on line, could only get 1 person for 18 holes wanted 2 people for 9 holes. Front desk was unfriendly, clubhouse was unfriendly and under stocked, ( no hot dogs, no brats, very irritated), used to be fun ! Now , we were with 3 other people, rushing around ,trying to keep up. Very, very uncomfortable 😕
Wet
The only reason I am leaving a bad review is because we got rained out. Other then that it was fine
No Water
Hot and humid and no water on the course or at the snack bar unless you buy it. Snack bar lady could not even fill up the container I had brought with me. I don't mind buying drinks after a round but to not provide any fountains or coolers of water on the course and making you pay for it on a hot and humid day really laid a big steaming one with me.
