Worst Value in OKC
The only positive is course design is fun, but not more fun than other courses in the area. I can name eight other public courses in the area that are better conditioned and they are all cheaper. It's hard to enjoy a course when the greens aren't putt-able. The cherry on top, is the staff is unfriendly. I hope this place gets new management and golf staff because this place has potential. For now, they need to drop their prices dramatically to equal the quality of product provided.
Save your money
Round took 6 hours. Mean manager up front. Horrible customer service and the greens were in worse shape. Go play somewhere else.
When the wind isn't blowing its excellent
The course is beautiful, it feels like you're right inside the neighborhood the whole time. Greens are always in great condition and the facilities are clean. Scrambles are great at this course because there are a lot of varying factors. I have played nicer courses but the fun I've had at Rose Creek far surpasses the nitpicky things I notice when I'm out there, like the wind. It seems like if it's blowing 5 miles an hour at the clubhouse, it's blowing 20 once you get to the second hole and on.
Links style course that went fully private
Rose Creek is a love or hate course. I highly recommend not playing on a windy day as it will truly show you how it would feel to play in England/Scotland. It is a beautiful links style course with some challenging holes. The greens are smooth and roll true. The course drains tremendously well after rain. The facilities are top notch with the upgraded clubhouse and bar. I recommend this course as a change of pace to traditional layouts. But again, be careful when its windy.
