For March 14th, the course was in great shap. Like many courses, too many people are not fixing divot, which is incredibly annoying.

Prestige Course
Course is very nice well maintained. Staff very friendly. Greens were perfect on most holes. Some greens were wet and slower. Course is difficult so bring extra balls. Love this course probably the best I have played in this area so far.. Starter was very informative and knew the course well. It was great that we were able to spend some time with him and prepare for the course. Course is worth the money.

The last 2 time we have played here the pace of play was slow. You would think any tee time before 8 a.m is a guaranteed 4 hour round, but not here. More like 4.5 to 5 hours. Besides that, the starter has no customer service skills. He is rude and rushes you off the tee box, just so you can hurry up and wait. Today, we were only able to get to our ball and hit on 1 out of 18 holes!!!. Every other hole on the course, we waited and waited. Not worth any amount of money if you can't keep a rhythm going. I'd rather play a less challenging and less kept up course than play here again. And they need a new starter!

Course Layout
Mark, thank you for your comments. We take all reviews seriously but would like to address some of your concerns. You teed off at exactly 8am and walked off the 18th green at 12:40pm on senior special day, compliments of our GPS system. The USGA physically came out and determined our pace of play at 4 hours and 32 minutes based on course design and total yardage. So yes, we apologize your round took 8 more minutes than anticipated. In terms of our "starter", yes he was upset with you because you hit 3 balls off of the first tee. We have a driving range for a reason, the golf course isn't your personal warmup space. If we let everyone like yourself hit multiple tee shots, every tee time would be delayed, we even had the groups behind you say something about it. But now as we think about it, that is probably why your round took longer than expected, you hit multiple balls. well based on your review, it sounds like Foxford Hills isn't the golf course for you, Good luck!
