If the golf now gps worked on the par 3’s I’d be happier
I know it’s a free app and I shouldn’t com0lain but after the latest update the white tees for all the par 3’s at this course are somewhere off the coast of Africa! Thankfully the front and back yardages are displayed correctly.
City owned golf course
A fun local muni course, easy to get to and good value. Staff is very friendly.
Ten Left Doglegs
First time I've played a course with 10 left doglegs....two straight holes and two right doglegs. Tight course and need to consider best angle for 2nd shot when teeing off
Par 5's are short but need good placement to attempt to reach in 2.
They offer a $2 bucket of 20 balls for a light warmup....wish more courses offered the same.
Rude Manager
I'm a fairly new golfer and when I was asking the manager about recommended golf clubs he was very cocky and to be honest rude to me. As if I shouldn't be bothering him with that question. I won't be back because of him! I will also be sure to tell others about my horrible experience there and to take their business elsewhere like we will be doing.
Nice little track
Local course. Good value for the money. Not bad if you're not expecting too much.
The course is a little challenging and fun to play.
There are bunkers and water to watch out for but the course is long and still a lot of fun to play.
Under Construction
Overall this was a good experience for me, Apparently they will be doing construction soon. There were a few holes where preliminary work was in process. So it took a little away from the look, but did not really hurt the play ability.
Fun course and great value
The front 9 was more forgiving than the back for this novice golfer. I had not played here for a few years and really enjoyed the course (and updates). There are some challenging holes but nothing ridiculous.
Great course
Love this course front 9 is great works you up to the back 9 which challenges the average player. Would play any day anytime!!!
Pleasant atmosphere
We were not aware of the work in progress. A couple of the holes were shortened because of the work.
Otherwise I enjoyed the course as I always do.
Maintenance on many holes
My partner and I only paid $12 each on a Golf Now special, so we really cannot complain too loudly about the course conditions. But when we got on the course, from about hole 3 to hole 9, and especially hole 4,5, were a mess and the construction people were impervious to us playing golf. Like I said, for $12, we cannot complain, but if we would have paid the $31 the couple paid that played with us, well then I would say that it would be poor value, and I would not recommend it at all.
Greens were in good condition, however on all holes. Fairways, and tee boxes not so much.
tarpon springs
course wide open not much trouble anywhere. Greens are in great condition.
Great Course - good value
Course is well maintained. Its wide fairways and excellent greens make it a pleasure to play. I guess the rainy season helped put it in great condition. Staff are welcoming and the pace of play was super.
Great course,great value
Played in 3 hours as the course wasn't busy, probably because of the heat. The course is in excellent shape, and the greens are as good as I've seen them in the past. Fairways are also good with plenty of roll. I've played here a number of times in the past few years and they are always improving. The staff are welcoming and friendly.
Tight course, but in great condition
the course is tight, but if you keep it in the fairway, you'll do great. The greens were in great condition
This golf course is very forgiving
The wide fairways was super great for intermediate golfers. Played one of my best, and look forward to another round of golf at this course.
FOR THE PRICE WAS GOOD
IT IS A GREAT GOLF COURSE FOR PLAY, I REALLY ENJOY
The greens were brown and long. The hole had been the same one for weeks, the grass was growing over the cup. The back nine is only open if it is dry.
I feel that the course is very easy and not your typical golf course. The back nine is terrible for the rainy season. The front nine is very short and only a par 35 from the tips it's 6200. The greens were like something from happy Gilmore. Then again it is a city course.
Features some good holes.
This course features some good holes. Greens definitely need some work. Do not run true. Staff very friendly. Pace of play good. Would recommend playing here if you don't mind the rough greens.
wide open- easy play- makes mistakes playable
greens are slow- fairways are just that-Fair---------easy and open fairways and play time is under four hours even for a novice like myself
