Rude front desk/staff sitting in club house
When I 1st walked in the guy behind the front desk started to ring me up to play, told him I already had a tee time booked on golf now was not very happy had a attitude shanking his head and saying your playing for free to me, said no I’m not, and then again with attitude said something, believe the new owners who just took over the course where sitting there as well in the club house shame on them for that they said something as well said this time ok you can use that rate but never again will it be honored if booked again on golfnow. Guy behind desk put the golf cart key down on counter with attitude. Don’t blame me and take it out on the customer when your the one that puts it on golf now. Listen I payed 25.00 for the round and at the course it’s 35.00 and even 35.00 is a bit steep for this place this time a year can play else where at a better shape course for same prices. Should be happy anybody was even playing at your course in this shape, basically no fairways just crab grass tee boxes horrible, greens slow and bumpy. Wish the new ownership just told over good luck when you have front desk with attitude like that and possibly the new owners questioning me on rate that was booked they advertised on golf now…🤷♂️

Gree fees are too high for this Cow-pasture.
Course is full of holes, standing water and bare spots.

Got there. Got to play on time.weather as we all no.after 9.holes of rain..manger said I could come back finsh off..that was nice of him.i be back.as I live hear great value.staff

Hard to this evaluation- course layout is good. People are friendly. Greens and fairways aren’t good. This course could be awesome but it’s not.
Try another track...
I wouldn't go back to American Golf Club because the course is in such poor condition. It probably was a beautiful course years ago, but it has been poorly maintained. The price is low, but there are other reasonably priced courses nearby that are so much better.

First time playing here. Course was in pretty rough shape and the greens were horrible

Tried this course as a last minute effort to still play as our usual tee time got delayed at another course. Arriving and the place is very hard to find as it is not marked hardly at all. Then find the clubhouse and check in and the guy behind the counter is less than friendly and acted like we unconvinced him showing up. Finally get out to play and course was unbearably wet and in poor condition. No starter so I as a free for all and had constant singles running us down and would stop to let them play through. Overall I’m not even sure I would golf it again if it was only $5 but definitely not worth the $30 we paid.
