Nice Course with Great Views.

A nice course set along the bow river with views of the three sisters in the back. Relatively short course, with lots of placement tee shots. Used my 4 and 5 irons a handful of times off the tee, but also had some great hoes where you can open it up with the Driver.

Greens were being aerated but they were up front about that and offered a discounted rate.

Played with a member who was very friendly and welcoming. Really made for a great experience overall. An easy walk and a very good alternative to some of it's more tourist attracting neighbours.

A local favorite

This review is from my 2010 trip to the Canadian Rockies. Playing Canmore was pleasant, especially after taking on the wild elevation changes and quirky holes at Silvertip.
Canmore offers that simple "walk in the park" feel to a round. It is generally forgiving. I remember shooting one of my lowest rounds of the summer and definitely the low round of the trip.
Canmore might not be the highlight of your trip, but it won't be the lowlight, either. You'll enjoy the day if you come to play.
