Predator Ridge Golf Resort - Ridge

About
Canadian golf-course architect Doug Carrick built the 18 new holes on and near a ridge that rolls down toward Lake Okanagan. It affords marvelous views from the property's high points and weaves through forest below. The Ridge rates as a prettier, more player-friendly rival to its next-door neighbor, the infamously tough Predator, designed by Les Furber.
The new 18 holes were built with scenery and playability in mind. Carrick used a piece of property with more severe features and loaded with trees, deviating from the mostly wide-open Predator. He also weaved fairways around granite outcroppings in many spots, often in view and frequently in play.

Can't beat Rocky mtn golf!
Great track and beautiful scenery! Course had reduced rates due to greens being punched. They were very bumpy but we realize coring has to be done. It was still a very enjoyable day!
This course has fantastic views of the lake and area
The Ridge course may be one of the best courses I have played in a long time. Definitely worth every penny!
Great course
Absolutely loved the course, it was in great condition and looked well maintained. Was a little put off by the starter….she seemed to feel our group foursome of 50-70 yr old was going to damage the fairways with our carts??? Just seemed to have too much to say (none of us were impressed and just wanted her to stop talking). Once we were off the fist tee everyone we met was very friendly. Will definitely be back for another round!
Better Value Out There
Played predator course. Although didnt pay $250 still paid a significant amount. There are better courses for value out there, e,g,, Tower Ranch. Driving range was mats with no drivers allowed based on size of range
Great track
Great track but a little slow following multiple foursomes taking their time
Fun
Played with a buddy and got paired up with good guys. Had fun. Nicest course I’ve played this year. Value excellent on twilight rate
Course = amazing Customer service = needs improvement
First time playing. The golf course was truly spectacular! The design and the location make for a very memorable round of golf.
Unfortunately for predator ridge there are a number of courses in the Vernon/Kelowna area that treat their guests with great customer service. They should be supplying the same level as they are by far the most costly of all.
Everyone seemed uninterested in being helpful or engaging.
Having to walk up (and then down) a significant hill from the parking lot to the club house seemed unacceptable when there is a shuttle cart sitting there with no one operating it.
Overall we can say that we can check off the course from the bucket list, but for the cost there are a number of other courses I would frequent before this one.
Beautiful course, slow greens.
My wife, teenage son and I played Predator Ridge later in the afternoon on a warm sunny day. The course is was in beautiful condition with an absolutely wonderful layout, but the star of the show is the stunning views! The course plays tough but fair, when played from the correct tee box it is a good challenge that rewards good shot making and punishes misses (the mark of a well designed course IMO). We loved it! The only slight complaint was the slow greens that were a bit shaggy, for a course of this calibre faster is expected. That said, perhaps that are left longer in order to preserve them during a heatwave - if so, good call. Just my two cents, overall - awesome golf course - hope to come back!
