A good Walking Course
Each hole has a unique layout and challenge - water, sand and trees. I am not along hitter and par is a reasonable possibility at each hole - have never yet achieved this, but ... The greens are quick and consistant. Enjoy!
A mostly easy course, old design
The course is fairly short and easy. It's at least 10 strokes easier than most courses. It does have some tricky holes, but you will score better here than at most courses. There's one par 4 that is around 260 yards and the last time I played it, I put my tee shot on the green. You can lose balls if you land behind some greens and your ball trickles down the bank into creeks. If you end up in the bush, you stand a good chance of finding your ball since it is not super thick. This is one of the oldest courses in Winnipeg, similar in age to Kildonan Park, which is another muni like this one.
