First Time Playing

A nice day

First time playing Lost Creek and I was generally pretty happy. Fairways can be a bit slopey in places, but the quality of turf is nice. Greens were in good shape and there were a few challenging holes. Nicest holes are the ones by the lake and the creek itself. There are one or two places where you are little tight to other fairways and it feels like you have people hitting in to you. All in all, it was a pleasant day of golf. With a little more love this one could be a solid 4 star course

It's all about the money

The course has come a long way since it first opened. Unfortunately the course was built with far too many shortcuts in order to save money as can be seen in the photo I've included of the 10th fairway. Very little if any topsoil Watch out for rocks just beneath the surface! Any improvements pale in comparison to how rude the manager is. Brutal clubhouse and no beverage cart most of the time. Much better courses around that actually appreciate your patronage.
