I Have No Words.....
This is the worst course I've played in 30 years, especially when you factor in the price charged to play. Where to start.......
The golf cart was on its last legs, huffing & puffing and hesitating with each push of the gas pedal.
The tee boxes were basically hacked up mud with minimal flat spots. The sand traps were literally the worst I've ever seen. Zero maintenance. There really was no contrast between the fairways and the rough. Atrocious! The greens were absolutely brutal. The greens were cracked mud in many parts.
The layout was obviously a "home-made" job by someone who figured they knew how to layout a golf course. Nope!
The only positive was that the greens on the back nine were mostly decent, especially when compared to the ones on the front nine.
If you play this course a second time you seriously need your head examined.
Awful Staff and Poor conditions
After being a member of this course several years ago I returned today as to play 18. I am shocked how bad this course stacks up against others in Nova Scotia. The staff there were very unfriendly and made no effort, this is extremely disappointing as this was not the case several years ago. As for the course itself the greens are in very poor condition and the Marshall was extremely rude. They turned on the sprinklers on 4/18 greens making it almost impossible to play through. After complaining they made no effort to ensure the sprinklers were off in the coming holes! I do not plan on coming back anytime soon. Overall a huge disappointment and complete lack of professionalism...
enjoyable day
beautiful weather and it helped that we paired up with 2 members of this course, the bunkers needed a lot of work though grass was growing in most of them and very few rakes
