Canadian Golf and Country Club - East

Had a great time. course was in good condition for this late in the year. A good way to end the golfing season.

Great layout, manicured very well, the electric carts have GPS on them, there’s a practice hole and I ordered 2 beers from the cart! Will be playing here all next season (2020).

Love this course ! I’m from Alberta and moved here for a few years , I have now moved back to Alberta but make sure every time I am back I get a chance to play here ! My only let down was this time around the starter tried to cut corners for time and we did the east 9 after booking for the 18, which I prefer much better and was so looking forward to playing.

I did not like the rearrangement of holes ignorer to make 3 nines. Score card is confusing.

The course conditions were generally pretty good but many greens had been aerated and sanded so were bumpy and putts that should have been made—weren’t. I realize greens need to be treated but would appreciate being told of their condition before we began our round.
The pace of play was abysmal! We, and 3 other groups were sandwiched between 2 tournaments. The tournament players in front of us must have had some novices as a ball went sailing head high by us without any warning.
We like this course, the layout is challenging and interesting; the carts are equipped with GPS which is convenient and helpful but the pace of play on an otherwise perfect day spoiled our match.

Nice layout good conditions very pretty but so slow it became un enjoyable. Def worth playing if u can find a day when it’s not packed

I have played this course numerous times in charity Tournaments. Played this time with 3 friends. Great fun and excellent value. Enjoyed drinks and food afterward which were also very good. Would recommend it. Not the best course in Ottawa but certainly the best value and an enjoyable experience. Staff were friendly and professional.

Wet, pace of play killed it with large groups of walkers. On weekends they should stager west and east with who’s walking and who has a cart

Great day at the Canadian golf & CC. The round was five hours which is a little long but did seem to go by faster due to good company and good conditions.

A nice course with some challenging holes but narrow for long hitters and too many dog legs. Greens seem to be inconsistent in speed but are in great condition. Some fairways are not in the best of shape probably due to heavy rain over the summer.

Always a great spot to play! Challenging course, fantastic conditions. Staff is always friendly. "smart" carts let you order food or see your distance to the hole! Always come back here

extremely slow pace! It took 6 hours to play 17 holes. A group two in front of us was extremely slow. The group directly ahead of us asked the marshal four times if they could ask the group ahead to speed up or let us play through and they replied, “we do not do that here!”. I’m not a speed demon myself but 6 hours for 17 holes is ridiculous and then kick everyone off the course because they were closing( with plenty of visibility left).

Very fun course. It was cart path only due to the rain, so I assume this slowed down the pace of play. Greens were a little slow, but overall the course was in great condition. Staff were are amazing. The short par 3 practice hole is a great addition. We will be back!

This is a decent course with nice facilities. Not sure I would pay full price but hot deal rate is good value.

A good course with a nice layout. Some good doglegs on the course. There are fair, well placed water hazards. Well designed greens.

The fairways, bunkers, and greens are good, and the rough is not too deep.

Only quibble is #12, a short par 4 with a 90 degree left dogleg. There must be a way to improve its layout.

The course can be busy, causing slower play. There are a good number of tournaments on this course every year, you might ask before booking.
