18 holes, Nice Layout, Beginner to Mid Handicap Golfer
Played the course 02 August 2024. Very friendly and nice staff. The course layout is flat for walking and pull cart options. The 18 hole layout offers players to use all clubs off the tees. Tee boxes were 6.5/10. Bunkers around the greens are grown in. Greens were 7.5/10. Pace of play was quick, very few golfers playing that day. For the price and value, this a great golf course for a beginner to mid handicap golfer.
Good Value, Fast Greens
Good value for your money, would highly recomend. Fast greens. All smiles for me.
Nothing fancy but the price is right
I played there with my son recently and it was OK. Nothing great, but that’s OK. I had played there several years ago and was surprised to see that the sand traps had all been allowed to grow in with grass. So I would recommend it for someone who doesn’t want to pay a lot. Cedarhurst is much nicer, but you pay a lot more too.
Incredible greens
Little short but amazing value, fairways and rough could use some TLC. I can’t believe how good the greens are. Par 3’s are not short. Good test of golf for a short course.
Great Value for Average Course
If you’re looking to play 18 at reasonable difficult course, this is a great spot for it value. Conditions are fair.
Good value
My husband & I decided, last minute, to try a course we hadn’t been to in the area. This one came up on Golf Now so we booked.
Good value, but not in the best shape. The course was rather spongy & wet in a lot of areas. I’m assuming they got a lot more rain the day/night before than we did in Lindsay and, perhaps, their drainage system isn’t great??
The fairways and the tee blocks are pretty rough, definitely needing to be cut, but the greens were in surprisingly good condition.
Unfortunately we got behind a few twosomes that were really slow, but the first couple of twosomes were polite enough to let us go through. I can’t say the same for the third, but we were on the 15th hole by then. We probably could have gotten through the course in a few hours (walking), but it ended up being a 4 hour round.
I will definitely try this course again but wait until we’ve had some dryer conditions.
Rehabing my game
Course is well maintained, greens in excellent shape. Most holes are dead straight with fairly wide fairways and few obstacles. Only the 1st and 5th holes have water as an actual hazard. It is a pretty much flat course. No standing water anywhere on the course.
Friendly and fun.
I played this course on a lark, not reading any reviews, basically throwing darts on a map (on vacation).
Staff was very friendly. It felt very much like a family-run operation. From Gigi at the counter, to the wonderful German Sheppard pup, Keona, trying to escape supervision.
The course was what you would expect. Old-fashioned ball washers by the tee box, small greens and short distances between holes. In other words, perfect for a quick, fun round. I played in just under 3 hours, mostly playing alone on a Tuesday morning.
I did join a friendly local for about 5 holes. Thx Eric!
The course is not long. Just under 6000 yards from the tips, but plenty of challenge.
I will play again given the chance.
This course needs some work. The sand bunkers were not finished, or groomed.
Great value though for the price.
beaverton golf curse
The y had a lot of rain during the previous 3 days so the course was very wet. Standing water on some of the fairways. Its a relatively flat course so it s an easy walk which is why I went there.
Bever time
Good pace of play and excellent course ti play if you want to improve your short game. Good value. Grrens were in good shape overall.
Beaverton’s in great shape
The fairways and greens are in nice condition this year. As always, the staff are lovely and happily accommodated our request to move up our tee-time.
