Club Selection Course:
If you just want to bang away at a driver all day this is not the course for you,this is a thinking man's course. The course makes you think about club selection off every tee.The course it self is in excellent condition and the greens are quick and true, with lots of breaks in them. The course has some very interesting holes and is quite scenic. The only downfall with the course would be the driving range, it's very short and you can only use mid to low distance irons on it. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the pricing in the club house is very reasonable. As for the price, all the courses in the Muskokas are over priced for a round of golf. This is one of the cheaper ones though.
Overpriced.
$70 for a green fee is simply too much. It's an okay track, some cool holes but nothing to write home about, lots of gimmicky holes and too many doglegs. Course was in rough shape when we played, and it was reminiscent of courses that cost $40. There were tons of barren areas, greens were very poor and inconsistent, lots of burnt grass and overall rough around the edges. The staff however were awesome, we arived a few minutes late for our time and they managed to fit us in 20 minutes later no problem. The course marshall was very friendly and kepy us updated on a slow group ahead. We waited on a few tees but managed to play in just over 4 hours on a long weekend - not bad. I would only play here again if I knew it would be in much better shape.
