Great course! Will be back to play next year!
First time golfing this course and I have to say I am impressed. Even golfing here in late fall this course was in great shape, and of course they were trying to prep for next year at this point in the season. The greens had been punched but had recovered very nicely. There are a few holes that are blind when teeing off, so make sure the people in front of you are clear. I am excited to come back and golf this course again next summer. I imagine this course is even better in the spring/summer. I really enjoyed this course. Will be back next year!
Woodlands excellent layout
End of the year golf , some of the tee boxes were relocated to tough hard pan areas just off of the original lush tee boxes... great weather and fall colors .
We drove from London to play this course because the course and the staff are fantastic.
A course with great potential squandered by tree placement
I enjoy playing Woodlands but the course could easily be so much better. The main issue is trees or tree limbs taking value away from tee shots. The most glaring example is the par 5 12th hole. A good drive puts you *at best* 250 yards from the green. Anything less than a good drive on that hole makes 6 a really good score. Hole 3 is a short par 4 that is unfairly guarded by trees short right of the green. The left rough here is a better spot than middle of the fairway
The property has wonderful rolling hills that could be greatly accentuated with minimal tree removal and limb trimming. I will continue to play this course
The course has a good variety of holes
We played on a beautiful fall day , greens had been aerated a week before so a little bumpy but other than that a great day .
Terrible greens
They were arrating greens. Only 9 holes were open. Greens were terrible. Rough was too long. Had we known only 9 holes were open we wouldn't of booked. Was very slow.
Great conditions
A good challenging course in really good condition.
The only downside was the singles and doubles rushing us and playing through. Not sure why the Marshall anllows this.
Also the little flies are constantly buzzing in your face. Not biting, just annoying.
Great course. Fun and challenging all at once.
A lovely big course, lots of challenging/tempting situations where you really have to toe the line between playing smart/laying up and just having a go at ripping it over the trees. The course is well looked after and welcoming to players of all levels.
Hot deals available on the regular. Bring some bug spray.
Always a must play
Woodlands always delivers on a great experience, a must play when in Huron County.

Very interesting course layout, some challenging holes, especially on back nine.
The bugs were horrible.. got bite many times. I know they can't control that. Beautiful course.

This course is more challenging than you might think, great fun for any golfer.
Nice course was just very very slow today. 5 hours to do 18.
