Whitetail Golf Club

About
Whitetail Golf Club enjoys a landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees, creeks, and ponds. Originally opened as a short nine-hole course, the layout was transformed into an 18-hole championship design in 2004. The update added a level of challenge to an already playable golf course. The first five holes are new, as are the last four. The layout has tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy and there are two tricky carries over water on the opening hole and the 17th. Both of these are par 3s that feature significant greenside bunkering that will test the iron play of even the most seasoned golfers. Whitetail Golf Club's sixth and 14th are two par 4s from the original nine that are particularly memorable since they play much longer than the indicated yardage.

Whitetail
One of the best if not the best and prettiest golf course in the valley.
Great Course
Try to golf Whitetail in Eganville at least o ce per year. Always a great course. Best course in the valley year over year. Love it!
Beautiful scenery
It was a cold day and ball did not carry far. Course was well manicured, greens were fast.
Great layout
One of the more enjoyable courses in the ottawa Valley. Except for sand traps it is well maintained and the greens are excellent. Could use more benches for those of us who prefer to walk the course. I would play more often except for the long drive from west ottawa.
Wonderful course, great condition
Whitetail was in superb condition and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Pace of play was a bit slow at 4 1/2 hours. Normally well under 4 hours.
I’ll be playing here again.
Course is in beautiful condition. The layout is fantastic. There are some blind shots so it’s best to play it with someone who knows the course.
Poorly designed for the average golfer
Course is very long. Unfortunately people are unwilling to move up to fit their play.
Lots of blind shots where you are unable to see the group in front of you but not only that you can't see where your ball lands which decreases pace of play.
When I flagged to the staff that the pace of play was extremely slow.. they responded with it is what it is.
Over 5 hours to play a round on 18 holes on a Thursday morning is ridiculous.
