Improving
This course seems to improve every time we play. They have been clearing out the reeds from most of the ponds. Holes 15 and 17 look stunning now.
Very much improved
Pace was great, greens were ok, but had recently been aerated and sanded, but playable. The fairways are coming along nicely
Wide Fairways
I’d say the best thing about this course is that the fairways are pretty wide & straight which makes driving easier. The grass on the fairways were all a bit shaggy which made wood shots a bit of a challenge. Overall I’d say it’s a decent course for all levels.
Worst course I've ever played
T boxes was lumpy harder than cement
Every single hole has extremely inaccurate distance posted and super short
Ridiculously slow pace waiting some times 30 mins on a tee box
Wouldn't play here again if it was free
Good Value
OK for the price, greens are tricky.
Was overbooked on this day so the pace of play was very slow!
New owners
Some great changes made in the past year, including the picnic area. Miss the bbq! The hotdogs are subpar with other courses. I would recommend getting Brenner hotdogs and possibly a burger even if nuked like at the Tilbury course.
Course is fun to play, but still needs lots of work to become a quality course. Lots of weeds on the fairways and bare spots. The greens are in great shape and challenging.
That being said, it’s only the second season and hope for more changes. Definitely will golf here again.
