Bushwood Golf Club

About
Bushwood Golf Course offers both an 18-hole Championship Course and a nine-hole Executive Course. Bushwood offers some of the most affordable golf in the area. The 18-hole course is a manageable 6,500 yards from the back tees, making it approachable for players of all skill levels. It has a traditional parkland design that is player friendly enough for beginners. While it may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, there are some risk-reward opportunities that more advanced players will appreciate. Rolling farmland surrounds the parkland layout. The tight, contoured fairways tumble across gently rolling terrain and there are more than 40 bunkers lining the softly undulating greens. Mature trees frame many of the holes and Duffin's Creek snakes through the front nine.

Theres something about mary
Most boring poorly maintained course Ive ever played and Ive played alot . I called the manager mary about our horrible experience and left her 4 voice mails and have not recieved a call back in 2 months of trying . Clearly she doesn't care hence noone else there cares and the poor conditions and experience . As others have said the rough is super tall and you lose your balls on decent shots . Signs saying beer cart girl was out but didn't see her once in our 6 hour round . No one out there to in crease the pace . We hit the range up first and most of the balls had no dimples and 2 was a half ball . Like how do they not replace or at least go through them and toss the beaten up ones ? Until recently for years there was a massive car alignment damaging pot hot in the middle of the parking lot my freinds tell me . There pond is not maintained at all . Horrible smell coming from it . Stay away from this course if your looking for a good day and round . Many others around for cheaper and managers that care and maintain .
Golfing @ Bushwood
I have played here before and it’s a very nice course with good amenities. This time however was pretty disappointing. We arrived well in advance and took
advantage of practicing on the putting and chipping green as we patiently waited for our tee off time. I watched 28 people tee off between 415-4:50 then another 10 walked past us as we waited for our tee time of 4:57 pm. When I approached the starter along with the group of people I heard someone yell out “don’t you know it’s ladies night?” I don’t understand why Bushwood decided to offer us a tee time when it’s league night and don’t appreciate the poor pace of play. As a result we forfeited many of our holes and lost our ability to play a decent game.
Moving forward it would be nice to have some accountability when booking players tee times and allow for a decent pace of play. To add to this the fee was not cheaper as a result of the late start and was not worth the price of admission. I will consider playing somewhere else that will keep this in mind so it’s not as congested.
Left my range finder in the cart. No one turned it in. During coviid all carts are supposed to be sanitized after use. Either the carts aren’t sanitized or staff didnt turn it in. My mistake for forgetting it their sin for not turning it in. Never go back
Great local course !!
Enjoyed the round with my buddy. Haven't play the course in a few years but everything was great except my swing. Looking forward to playing this course a few more times before the season ends.
Great course and lots of fun
I have played here many times and it lots of fun. The food and drinks after you play are delicious. The staff are great and friendly. Overall everytime I come I leave happy! I strongly recommend this club!
green aerification
The greens were under aerification but no alert during booking.
AWFUL
We played on Sunday Sept 16, 2018. We had played here once before , even after we were told it was a "hay-field". Our first initial round back in June was quite good. We played fathers day and they had a special so my wife and I went. The course was in great shape and certainly wasn't a "hay-field". So we decided to play there again yesterday. It was AWFUL. It was a "hay-field" The rough hadn't been cut for a while, literally losing balls, and you almost couldn't tell the fairway from the rough at times. Also the tee boxes were in dismal shape and it looked like the pins hadn't been moved for a week. At a cost of $171 for two players I expected a lot more. I complained at the Pro shop to a young man who didn't seem to really care. The play was very slow, even with a Marshall, a little more than 5 hours to play. The washrooms on the course were overfilled and my wife couldn't use the bathroom until we came back to the clubhouse. We wont be playing there again. What a shame , with some real TLC it would be a great course. We are local so we have plenty to choose from.

HORRIBLE
Just awful. Fairways were like rough, rough was like long grass grass clippings everywhere can’t find your ball. Greens had bumos and dirt all over it. Worst course I’ve ever played, please do not play here
Average
It was the first time pkaying Bushwood and my overall impression of the course was average. I lost a lot of balls in the high rough and sone fairways appeared to be like roughs in most other courses. The greens were in good condition.
Some improvements needy
Overall the course is ok the value is great. The course needs some maintenance such as the fairways need some irrigation and t- boxes need to be flattened and even out flat and the greens need to be repaired from scuffs that’s all.
Nice Course!
Enjoyed playing at Bushwood. Course was in great condition. Fast greens, well taken care of course. Will return again for sure!
The greens were in excellent shape, much better than some private course. My wife an I were 3rd tee off @ around 6:30am and finished our round in less than 3 hours. Overall great value. Will play again for sure.
How sweet it was
Had an excellent time it’s been years since I played at this course I forgot how nice it is
Always enjoy a quick round at Bushwood!!
A quick round at Bushwood and Can’t go wrong with the price too!!
Golfed there Saturday June 2nd , The fairway is so long you cannot find your ball even in the fairway, many guests complaining, you should not have to hunt for your ball when in the fairway. Very expensive course to play when you lose balls so easy. I would stay away. We will not go back again,
