Excellent facility and course
I feel very lucky to have had the chance to play here. I played the Copperhead course and it was a windy day so that made for some fun links golf! I was paired up on a very busy day with 2 juniors and a member. We all played fairly well, kept pace with the group ahead of us and boom - finished in 3:45. I was blown away by that, the course was packed with groups but still finishing under 4 hours is very impressive. On top of all that, conditions were excellent and the beer carts were regular. What more could you ask for?
Beautiful Twilight
Spent a great evening at Rattlesnake.
Course was in very good condition, greens ran fast and bunkers we immaculate.
Had dinner after the round and the restaurant, prop shop and other facilities were welcoming and very nice.
Will be heading back there again!
Better than most
Very top end course, in great shape. Greens are fast, but REALLY true, with only moderate undulations.
Design gives long hitters an unfair advantage over moderate hitters. If you can drive over 275 yards, the fairway traps do not come into play, and many doglegs can be cut by 50 yards or more, allowing an easy wedge into most par 4's. Lesser hitters must avoid fairway traps, follow the fairway, and hit a second shot from 200+ yards out. A design update would put this course on the Score Golf Top 100.
