Chippewa Golf Club
Mid-November round. Course was in excellent condition. Fairly open course, not super challenging but fun to play. Very walkable. Enjoyed the course and would come back.
Wet.
Ponds in fairways. One nine closed. Horrible drainage. And no notice or reduction in greens fee. Won’t do this again in fall season.
Solid course
Overall happy with the course, would return. Only downside was that the white course was closed for aeration, and the red course had recently been done so putting on sand and bumps was not too pleasant. The gold course was perfect, no complaints there. I don’t know if I’d pay full price in prime time for this course, but for a twilight or hot deal it was a really good afternoon!
Fun Fall Golf
Despite chilly winds we had a great round. Love the forward tee blocks. Played with quite possibly the nicest folks we’ve ever been paired with
Augusta-Like
Since I last played Chippawa about six weeks ago the course conditions have improved dramatically. Green and soft everywhere except in the rough make the course an absolute delight to play. I never had a bad lie in the fairways and the greens and teeboxes were in immaculate conditions. My partner and I played the Red and White nines but I can only assume that the Gold course is in equally as perfect condition. A bonus is the power carts which are equipped with ball and club washers.
Do yourself a favour and play there before the end of the season.
Greens in good shape.
Not the most difficult course but definitely great value. 3 diffrent 9 hole sections to keep things moving. Good pace of play even if their was a little waiting. (to be expected on a holiday)
Good little course
Good course, but the holes are a bit short, even from the blues. Course was in decent shape for the time of year, and we didn't get held up by other players after the first hole.
