"Grand" for a Reason
This course doesn't appear on the "Top ###" list for no reason, this is hands down the most immaculate course in Niagara.
Pros:
> The Staff
> The Tee Boxes (all are level and lush)
> The Fairways (as green as a Crayola crayon)
> The Greens (healthy, in great condition, minimal ball marks, true, fast and CHALLENGING)
Cons:
> Some bunkers are in need of some TLC
> New yardage book. I liked the old yardage book that had 1 hole / page, not this current version which has a higher focus on advertising than customer assistance.
> Stopped for a burger after finishing our 1st round and before starting our 2nd round of the day. Price a bit steep for a burger ($11). I pay premium green fees if the course is quality conditions, and the same goes for food. I just don't think the burger and fries were worth $11. The staff are phenomenal though. She even gave me tips on the Olympic Rugby match on tv.
best in Niagra
love playing here always in great shape so sad it was reduced to 9 holes enjoy it while it's still here.
An amazing golf course
I think one of the very best course I have played! That includes Glen Abbey, whirlpool, and thunder waters.
The tee blocks were nicer than most
Putting surfaces. The fairways like a carpet, and greens lighting fast, with lots of undulations. Water and traps of most holes, the unfortunate part, it is only 9 holes now, having sold off the front nine to developers.
Unfortunately, 50 mph winds makes the course a little more challenging, something along the
Lines of St. Andrew’s.
Enjoy
Best in Niagra
Great course on windy day bonus golf in November hopefully we can play here for a few more years shame what happened to the front nine darn developers
Grand for 9
Shame that developers took out the front 9. But
this is an excellent 9 if you don’t want to be out all day. Course was not designed for walking - take a cart!
Never Too Late
This course is still in excellent playing condition and definitely worth the visit. Highly recommended despite it only behind a nine hole course.
Well maintained coarse.
Lovely coarse to bad it is being destroyed for developers
Grand Niagara Golf
Excellent golf coarse, well maintained. Big shame the coarse is being shut down😟
Amazing track
What a shame they dug up half the course for a housing. It was the best 18 hole course in the region before and now the best 9 hole course.
Complete gem!
This was my first time at Grand Niagara and I was totally impressed. The course is in perfect condition and has incredible views. Many tee blocks to choose from and I hope to return soon.
Good Morning Ernest1975,
Thank you for your recent post. We do forward all comments to Management and look to improve where we can. Fair warning when it comes to Rugby. Should a BIG game be televised- our 'Tabi' could be a little engaged! (LOL). We hope to see you back in 2016.
