I play at the Willows 20+ times a season. If you are in Saskatoon and don’t have 5 hours to spend at Dakota Dunes it is the course I would recommend. However new management took over last spring, and I’ve been a little disappointed. They took out about dozen bunkers, it has made the course less strategic and overall less enjoyable. They’ve also had some weed issues this season. It’s still an enjoyable place to play and one of the best in Saskatoon.
trees are now maturing atop the many adjacent hills
If not hosting tournament play or closed for maintenance, you can sometimes select which side of the course you prefer to play. They have a 18 Lakes and Islands or 18 Bridges and Xena total 36 holes. Convenient drive from the City of Saskatoon. Rates are competitive with local competition. Course management has dealt with some not so well drained areas and improved them greatly over the years. They also have senior rates and other packages available through the weekdays. Will take some photos when I play again this week.
