Very nice and challenging course.
Kyle Phillips Gem
Yas As the feel of a good Scottish links with shot values and green undulations to match. There are many different tears to suit all ability levels and it is wise to pick the correct tees to play. The golf course and clubhouse staff are welcoming and accommodating. Tee shots are well framed with fairway bunkers and the green complexes are well protected with ample bunkers and green undulations. Yas is a must play and well deserving of their #46 ranking.
Exceptional, the UAE Must Play
The course is exceptional with a good variety of tee's to suit all golfers. When you play this course it's hard to believe that it's less than 10 years old.
The dunes are all man made and Kyle Philips has done a wonderful job in making it feel natural and even 100 years old transplanted from Ireland or Scotland.
Doesn't get the recognition it deserves as many of its neighbours hold European Tour events (Abu Dhabi, Jumeriah Golf Estates and Emirates GC) but this will reward those that make the trip.
Yas Links
The course is in excellent condition. The fairways are dark green and well maintained, the bunkers are filled with sand and playable and the greens are smooth as glass and true. The locker room is something out of a paradise magazine. You have to witness the environment to understand it's splendor and beauty. The food and service was as excellent as the golf.
Best course in UAE
Challenging and undulating course, true to its "links" design. Breathtaking views as many holes run along the turquoise waters of a mangrove-lined bay. Fairways in immaculate condition, however any wayward shots are harshly punished by either deep rough or water. Sumptuous Spanish style clubhouse. Overall a tremendous golfing experience.... if you can only play one course in U.A.E., play here!
