Much, much better than 6 years ago!!! Course in great shape.
If you have not played this course lately, do yourself a solid and check it out. Fairways are nearly perfect after Overseed. Greens are still pretty shaggy with rye grass but if you wait until end of October they should be perfect..........but then prices will be higher. Hot deal was to good to pass up and glad we did it. Beautiful course and scenery of the surrounding mountains from most holes. Generous sized fairways and greens. Only downside was the furry greens (again, to be expected just after Overseed) and the sand traps.............they really need to put more sand in bunkers and maintain them a little better. Overall good value at the hot deal rate!!!!!
Almost rained out.
Well, the light rain fell over the first nine, but not enough to slow things down. Stopped on the back and made things a bit muggy. Course was getting ready for over seeding; so fairways were scalped and dormant. I may have waited to play this one had I known that. Greens were okay and a little slow, but they rolled pretty good. Rough was thick and sticky. I will certainly come back when they have completed their over seeding and give it another shot.
Great course
The staff was very friendly. The course was in great shape, I loved how they had the fairways cut, then the second cut, then the rough. Not to many courses in Tucson has that kind of up keep. My only complaint is putting some sand in the traps, the traps were like concrete.
long, but fair.
Great conditioned course. Played at 10:45, so was pretty hot. ( close to 100, with golf course humidity ) It's been over 10 years since I've played here...Will become a regular if conditions remain as good as they were yesterday. Challenging par 3's and wide open fairways ( allow all but the worst shots ) a chance at redemption.
Generous fairways and few places to get in trouble
The gentleman in the clubhouse was exceedingly helpful and friendly. The tees and fairways are in decent condition. Some greens are being patched in spots but rarely came in to play. Paired with a twosome and finished in under 4 hours. Will definitely play again and can't beat the hot deal price.
Great course and very friendly staff.
It was a great experience. I went with my daughter and the course was in great conditions, staff was helpful and friendly.
Great course
It was a very good experience, fairways are in great shape and the design of the gc is absolutely fantastic. Some greens are under repair but that was not an issue at all. We wiill be back soon.
Staff is very friendly.

first time
This was the first time playing this course. It was a good time. Fairways is great shape. I enjoyed the layout. Only complaint was the greens. They are doing a lot of repairon them.
Had fun in the sun
Played my first time at Quail Creek and was pretty surprised. It's a beautiful course that offers some challenge while still having fun. I think someone left the heater on though, was about 97 out when we played. That's what we get for living in Tucson though!
This course is a nice layout .
The layout of the course is really nice challenging shots on most every hole sadly the greens were horrible I repeat horrible..
The greens are a mess!
I was quite disappointed in the condition of the greens. Fairways are OK. I've seen both in much better condition.
Beautiful and fun golf course
Great views. Some tough holes. Lots of wildlife. We recently moved to the area and have played several courses. This is the prettiest and most challenging so far. This is a must play if you are in southern Arizonaj
Quail Creek Golf
Very windy day interfered with comfortable play. Not a fault of the course. It is a generally fun and challenging course.
Roadrunner quail. Sequence.
Course is in okay condition. Greens are not back yet.
Greens in poor shape
Good value thru discount websites, would not recommend any one pay full price. Greens are very dry, and very fast. This has been an issue at Quail Creek for three years. The staff refuses to do the transition of grass on the greens. Fairways are beginning to dry out. Some bunkers have sand, some have dirt. Golf staff was pleasant. Pace of play was great.
Great course layout for average golfers
Course was dry and some greens were bare in spots.
Fun course to play for the average golfer easy to score on most holes. Played 18 holes with no delays, start time was 12:32
Not Worth the Trip
The layout is decent. The traps have adequate amounts of sand. The only thick, nice grass is on the tee boxes. The fairways are turning brown.
The greens are painted green in many places and have a minimum of actual grass. The green roll is bumpy and erratic. There is no visual appeal to the layout. My wife and were disappointed with the course.
